FAQ

Do I need Pro to sync a league?
No. Sleeper/CBS sync works free in this browser. Pro saves usernames and league links across devices. Yahoo and ESPN are not supported yet.
Where does my card go?
Stripe Checkout — Homefield never stores full card numbers. Account → Manage billing opens Stripe Customer Portal when that Portal is enabled in the Stripe Dashboard.
Monthly vs yearly vs lifetime?
Monthly renews each month until you cancel. Yearly is one annual subscription (typically 10× the monthly rate — two months free vs paying month-by-month for a full year). Lifetime is a one-time purchase when listed at Checkout — not a subscription. Amounts on this page follow NEXT_PUBLIC_PRICE_* when set; otherwise Checkout shows live Stripe prices.
Can I use a discount code?
Yes. Paste a promo on Pricing or open /pricing?promo=HF3MO (or any path with ?promo= — we remember it in this browser). Homefield validates the code and pre-applies it when opening Stripe Checkout (Stripe’s open promo field is not used). The primary invite code is HF3MO (3-month / referral). Other Dashboard codes still exist (e.g. HFSEASON for season-pass tests, HFSAVE10, HFLAUNCH20) — Coupons live in the Stripe Dashboard.
What is HFLIFETIME — is it free forever?
No. When offered, HFLIFETIME is a short-window Stripe Promotion Code: 100% off one Checkout charge (limited redemption window and cap). It only applies to the HomeField Lifer (lifetime) one-time plan — Checkout rejects it on monthly or yearly, where it would free a single invoice then renew. It is not the paid $249 Lifer SKU itself, and it is not an admin complimentary lifetime grant on Account.
Gift codes like HF3MO / GIFT3 — when am I charged?
Card-on-file gift codes (HF3MO, HF6MO, GIFT3, GIFT6, and similar when offered) are typically 100% off for a repeating number of months on a Stripe subscription. After those free cycles, Stripe bills the full list price on the subscription anniversary — not on a separate “last business day” calendar date. Cancel before that first full-price charge via Account → Manage billing when Customer Portal is enabled, or email support@homefieldfantasy.com. Checkout confirmation, Stripe invoice email, and Portal (when enabled) show the upcoming charge date. Admin gifts with no card never auto-charge.
I was invited as a tester — do I need Checkout?
Usually no. Sign in once with the email that was granted complimentary Pro, then open Account — you should see Pro (Lifetime shows No expiry). Paid promo codes and card-on-file gift trials still use Checkout above.
Is this betting advice?
No. Homefield is analysis software. We do not place wagers, enter DFS contests, or execute host-league moves for you.
What is not included?
Yahoo/ESPN sync, FanDuel/pick’em as Homefield DFS parity, ownership sims, and App Store native apps. See Plan for the honest build sequence.
