Rivalry desk

Three scoreboards. Zero invented wins.

Homefield keeps accuracy rivalry, league H2H, and invite rooms separate so nothing masquerades as something else. Lock starters that disagree with Homefield, score after kickoffs, and race friends on who beat the model — not on fake live fantasy tickers.

01 · Accuracy

You vs Homefield

Each hit-rate metric stays unpublished until its own n≥30 (HF hit rate = scored disagreements). Record updates when Pro scores locks after games.

You vs Homefield

Accuracy rivalry

No scored disagreements yet — lock a start/sit fade to open the season. Not your league H2H — that lives in the League matchup section when Sleeper posts an opponent.

Weekly challenge

0/3

Lock start/sit picks that disagree with Homefield, then score after games.

Agreement

—

Share of locks where your pick IDs matched Homefield’s recommendation.

HF hit rate

—

On scored *disagreements* only: share where Homefield’s locked side outscored yours (actuals).

Followed hit

—

On scored *agreements*: share where the shared pick won (or tied) on actuals.

Rates stay as sample counts until each metric’s own n≥30. HF hit rate needs 30 scored disagreements (now 0) — Homefield will not claim accuracy theater.

Hit-rate methodology

Homefield publishes rates only on *your* Pro ledger after enough scored decisions — never a sitewide “most accurate” claim.

Publish gate: n ≥ 30 for that metric’s own denominator (locks, scored disagreements, or scored follows).
Sample = locked decisions with a user pick. HF hit rate uses scored disagreements only — agreeing with Homefield does not inflate that rate.
Baseline: coin-flip 50% on disagreements. Beating chalk/experts is not claimed.
Privacy: per-account Rivalry desk only. No public leaderboard of hit rates without an explicit opt-in later.
Anti-claim: never “most accurate projections,” “#1,” or “beat FantasyPros.”

How scoring works

Honest by design

Lock a start/sit pick that disagrees with Homefield on Season. After kickoffs, Pro can score the week from NFL actuals. Wins go to whoever’s locked side scored more — ties count as ties.

Hit rates (agreement / HF hit / followed) each have their own n gate (n≥30). HF hit rate only counts scored disagreements — agreeing with Homefield does not pad that rate. Coin-flip (50%) is the only baseline we show; we never claim “most accurate projections.”

League H2H shows projection share as a labeled Homefield model, then scored player points only after games start. Invite rooms reuse the same accuracy ledger — they are not a fantasy league.

Homefield advises. Your host places the lineup. We never invent live fantasy scores or CBS opponents. Full write-up: Hit-rate methodology · expand the methodology card on this desk.
